The Ghana girls’ book Onyini ne Nsakrae (Growth and Changes) was developed in 2012. The book is available in Twi-English and English only formats. It targets early adolescent girls aged 10-14, and incorporates real life stories as well as factual guidance about puberty, menstruation and body changes.

Ethiopia Boys’ Books

The Ethiopia boys’ book was developed in 2024 partnership with CARE and Save the Children. The book targets early adolescents aged 10-14, and incorporates real life stories as well as factual guidance about puberty and body changes. Becoming a Young Man is now available in local languages including: Sidemigna, Af Somali and Tigrinya. More languages coming soon!
