Aina Rasoazanany

Aina has a BA in Culture and Languages from the University of Fianarantsoa in Madagascar. Before working on this puberty book project, Aina was a health educator at Projet Jeune Leader, where she taught sex education classes and provided counseling and support to middle school students. Passionate about youth development, Aina hopes to create one day her own NGO that provides art education and recreational activities for street children.

 

 

Jana Lee

Jana has a MSSW from the University of Texas in Arlington and a BS in Social Work from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor. Jana served as a Peace Corps Health Volunteer in Madagascar where she worked with local community health workers and students to improve water sanitation, family planning, and sex education. She worked specifically with young girls on issues relating to peer pressure, safe sex practices, prevention of STIs and HIV, and puberty.
