T. Nana Mokoah Ackatia-Armah

T. Nana Mokoah Ackatia-Armah graduated with a PhD and MsEd in Education, Culture and Society (Anthropology) from the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in Economics and French. Dr. Ackatia-Armah has spent several years conducting in-depth ethnographic work with young women in both formal and non-formal educational spaces in the United States and in Ghana. She is a scholar activist who is extremely passionate about research aimed at improving women’s lives. Dr. Ackatia-Armah has worked with several non-profits to influence government policy on gender equity and equality.

 

Amba Duaa Mensah-Forson

Amba Duaa Mensah-Forson has a BA in Sociology and Philosophy from the University of Ghana, Legon.  She is currently an MPhil student in the Sociology Department of the University of Ghana.  Her Masters Thesis examines the changing nature of orphan care in Ghana. Ms. Mensah-Forson has a particular interest in rural and human development.
